LAMONTE has devised a range of bags with an embedded unique tracking product designed so that the user will be able to track their bag in the event of theft or loss. The technology utilised is by means of a unique solution using a combination of GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and mobile networks to deliver real-time global location tracking. The technology is used as a base to build our intelligent Smartphone apps by way of a ‘geo-fence’. A ‘geo-fence’ is a term which refers to a virtual perimeter around a geographical location which has built-in triggers or designated commands (like points of interest).

In case of loss or theft, all information is processed and then sent to the user’s phone via Bluetooth whenever in range and if not, to the cloud via its built in 3G GSM/GPRS system.
